The Science Behind Probiotics

AktivOxigen Serum is a concentrated liquid form of the same ingredients that make up the AktivOxigen tablets. This Serum can be used in three different ways:

Use it as Your Primary Mouthwash. Many patients want an unflavored oral rinse - the AktivOxigen Serum is perfect for this. You simply follow the instructions on the bottle to create an unflavored oxygenating solution every time you need it...and at the concentration you want (regular or double-strength).
Use it as a Supplement to TheraBreath Oral Rinse. The AktivOxigen solution will create an unflavored rinse that many patients use to cleanse their throat - by swallowing a capful or so right before bedtime or during the day. When you mix the AktivOxigen Serum with water or your favorite juice, slowly swallow the resulting solution and let it stay in contact with the back of your throat and tonsils for as long as possible. This allows the potent Cl02 time to neutralize the bad breath bacteria that live deep in your throat that regular rinsing alone can't get to.
Use it to Make ANY of our Rinses, Drops, or Sprays Stronger. The AktivOxigen Serum can be added directly to any of our products to make them more powerful. The science behind the AktivOxigen Serum is very powerful, yet surprisingly simple. Specifically, here's the way the AktivOxigen Serum works:

The highly concentrated solution in the blue bottle is stabilized at a pH above neutral. When the solution contacts a liquid at a lower pH such as tap water (neutral pH of 7.0) a reaction takes place releasing the oxygen from the solution, which then allows oxidation (which is the breaking of the sulfhydryl bonds of the Volatile Sulfur Compounds and in the cell wall of the bacteria) to take place. This creates fresh breath and taste for hours at a time.

Because some people enjoy a mouthwash with some flavor (and because ClO2 has the ability to breakdown many different tastes), the AktivOxigen Serum is designed so that you could add any flavor of your favorite fruit juice, in case you want to mix it with something other than water. The pH level of the AktivOxigen Serum is such that it will work perfectly either way.
